Re: Raid 5 configuation

Inorder to do the Raid 5 configuration, the following steps needs to be followed:
  1. The RAID adapter as well as the hard drives have to be installed in the system.
  2. The adapter card has to be configured in the computer's or card's BIOS.
  3. After that. you need to install the drivers of the controllers in the Windows operating system.

Re: Raid 5 configuation

Hello there, RAID 5 is actually a technology that gives a redundant fault tolerance along with the advantages for performance of the system. All the data and information in the system will be safe and only the space of one drive will be used. To use RAID 5, you will need 3 drives that have the same size. You will be able to use the whole space combined by these 3 drives. The more drives that you use for this technology, the more will be its efficiency.

Re: Raid 5 configuation

It is basically a redundant array of inexpensive disks that is which allows a computer to store high amount of data. It combines two or more physical hard disks into a single logical unit using special hardware or software.
