This situation arises because there might exists a Imagehlp.dll file in the windows folder. So check it in the system folder if there exists such copy of Imagehlp.dll then this is what not allowing the java activex to get installed on the system. The simple solution to this problem is to rename the Imagehlp.dll file. Hope you will fix this problem soon

I think that you are facing this problem because your website is not in the trusted zone in the Internet explorer so i would recommend you to open this website with the help of the Internet Explorer in the compatibility mode. this will let you to install the Java ActiveX controls in the Internet Explorer browser.

| Re: Unable to install Java ActiveX
Sometimes the java activex controls cannot be instaled in the Internet Explorer because you may be trying to install a a pre-released version of Internet Explorer , uninstall any of its version installed previously before installing the internet explorer 8. It might be also due to disabling of the Active Content security of the internet Explorer |

Somtimes this type of issues usually arise because your Internet explorer browser may not be configured to install unverified software. So follow the steps which are mentioned below: * Open the IE browser in that click tools and internet options. * click the security -> Custom level button * Check for the following settings in the ActiveX and set them as follows

It would be better if you use some other browser like Mozilla firefox or Opera or safari. Since i am using Mozilla firefox for a long time i think that this will help you in this matter since it automatically fulfills all the requirements needed to play the web tutorials. It is done by various add ons which are managed automatically by the Mozilla Firefox. Try it. |
