When you are asked for the address of the network place, you have to select the browser and then you have to go to the Entire Network and then you have to pick a folder which is shared from your Mac. If you had selected it one time then you give it a proper name. After that you can see a new icon inside the My Network Places directory. To connect the Mac across the network you have to just double click on that icon.

The SSID (Service Set Identifier) - When you are attached to your wireless network you will frequently or generally just have to choose its name from the menu bar you have to select the Airport icon. The name of the network will be called as SSID. You would be suggested altering this from the factory settings to something more special or private (even though you may want to keep away from a name that would recognize you or your house). Additional routers will also let you hide the name entirely, even though this offers only a low level of security.

For the Router Login - in the when you log into your router to make modify or revolutionize you will be encouraged to enter a password. Evasion or default user names and passwords are well known, so if left unaffected malevolent types could simply get the right of entry to your router and can modify your settings (or even lock you out). You have to modify these directly or instantaneously from the factory settings and revolutionize them as regularly as you can.

In the MAC Address Filtering - The routers will, by default or evasion and permit any computer that endeavors to and have a right of entry to it and join your network. One of the fundamental steps for securing your wireless network is to get your router to stop them at the first barrier or enclosure. Every network port, on every computer, has a MAC (Media Access Control) address. This in fundamental terms is a everlasting, exceptional address tied to that network port. Whether it be a physical wired network port or a wireless network card. In the Mac wireless settings this are the some security option in it.
