Unlocking my homepage on IE 8 in windows 7

I am facing a very weird problem with my system. Whenever i try to change the home page of my browser i cannot change it for some reason i don't know. I really need to get it changed because i find that i am always directed to a unknown webpage. please help me to unlock my homepage in Internet Explorer 8. Thanks in advance

It appears as your system has been affected by a virus or a trojan so it would be better if you try to install an antivirus on your system and then scan your whole system with the help of the antivirus. Remove the detected threats because you are not able to change the home page because of this virus only.

I think that you can solve this problem by simply using an alternate browser like the mozilla firefox or the opera. Because it appears as your browser is hijacked or somewhat similar. Also you can try to uninstall the current version of the internet browser and download and reinstall the internet explorer browser.

Download the process analysis tool call as hijackthis and then try to install it on to your system by right clicking on the downloaded setup afterinstalling this open the program by right clicking on the icon on the desktop. click "Do a system scan only" after the can try to fix the harmful objects using the application.

It seems as your system has been infected severely and this infection has also corrupted your system file. if the antivirus and all have not helped you than you will have to repair your system with the help of the recovery disc insert the recovery disc in your system and simply select the repair option. After the repair your problem will be solved.
