    Help to delete Trojan.Downloader.JS.Psyme.SR

    Help!!! Before two days i have found one trojan on my computer named as Trojan.Downloader.JS.Psyme.SR presented in the two files GameeeEeee.pif and Gameeeeeee.vbs. I have deleted both of these files but still my anti-virus software detects this trojan on my computer. I do not why it can not delete it which made me to delete those files from my hard disk manually. Please help to remove Trojan.Downloader.JS.Psyme.SR now.

    About Trojan.Downloader.JS.Psyme.SR

    Trojan.Downloader.JS.Psyme.SR is a trojan which downloads the file indicated in the trojan's code in the infected machine. Actually it affects the vulnerability in the ADODB.Stream ActiveX component in order to save the file. And HTML file also could be containing the malicious data. Trojan.Downloader.JS.Psyme.SR is a file of 500 bytes approximately.

    Symptoms of Trojan.Downloader.JS.Psyme.SR

    If your computer has been attacked by the Trojan.Downloader.JS.Psyme.SR then there are some symptoms which are been showed by this trojan such as presence of some weird named files in a temporary folder. Once your computer have got this trojan then your temp folder would be containing GameeeEeee.pif and Gameeeeeee.vbs. The file with the extension of .vbs is being created by the the original malware.

    Delete your Browser's cache.

    Though i do not know it is going to work for you or not by deleting the cache of your browser but still you may try it by following these steps.
    1. Open Internet Explorer menu and click on Tools or Internet Options.
    2. Open Browsing history and select Delete All and click Yes.
    3. Click Close when you finish and then close the Delete Browsing History window.
    4. Files and cookies have been cleared.
    5. Now go to Internet Options menu and select Settings in order to be safe in future.
    6. Under "...disk space to use...", change it to 5Mb or less.
    7. Click OK to exit.
    8. Close Internet Explorer and restart it for changes to take effect.
