netmsvnt.exe issues on Hp pavilion laptop

Hi, I have a Hp pavilion laptop and it is been installed with Windows 7 operating system. The problem is that my system is affected with netmsvnt.exe virus i guess. Whenever i try to execute any program it gives an application related to the same it falls back. I do not know what could be the reason. Please help me out. Thank you.
