XP Security Center no longer recognize my antivirus

Hello

Since 6 / 7 days, the security center windows no longer recognize my antivirus antivir.

I uninstalled and reinstalled antivir but no improvements, still i can't find any solution.

How do can you help me?

If you click on the icon Antivir of the screenshot that you attached, you should be able to manage settings Antivir.

Is the real-time protection is active?

Have you done the Windows updates lately?

I'll put a link to support microsoft which addresses a similar problem but with Bit Defender.

Done again manip:

Start-> Run-> CMD

• Then tape "cd\" (without the quotes and with a space between cd and \)
• Retype then the commands in the link I gave you.
• Yes ok the updates are done automatically, but you can follow their history by clicking Start> Windows Update and know those installed recently.
• Check also that, despite what Windows tells you the real-time protection with Antivirus is enabled.

The security center is asked not to deal with the virus. Thing to tell you that Windows (Security Center) no more check if your antivirus is active or not

if you changed the value in the windows registry dword:1 by zero Security Center detects that your antivirus if it is active or not! t but nothing tested either

If you want to get rid of safety messages,

• Opens Security Center,
• Click on Change the way Security Center alerts me (left column)
• Uncheck Antivirus Protection
