    Avoid downloading pirated softwares

To protect the system from Backdoor.Win32.Bots.dx, I suggest you to avoid downloading pirated softwares. The pirated softwares are embedded with the infections, since the attackers know that many users will be looking for such pirated softwares. Many unsuspected users will fall prey to such an attack. So, when they download the pirated softwares, they will be actually downloading the infections into the system.

Use caution when clicking on links to Web pages

I advice you to use caution when clicking on links to Web pages and this will protect the system from Backdoor.Win32.Bots.dx and other such infections. The attackers try to attract the users by putting a link on the web pages by giving a very good caption to the link. The put the infections inside the link. It is your responsibility to avoid such links by staying alert when you are on the internet.
