How does fake antivirus corrupt file

My brother has accidentally installed Home Antivirus 2010 in my computer. After a sometime I found that it is a fake antivirus. So I had tried many things to remove it from the computer. First of all I had disabled some services from the msconfig box. But I think that there are more file in the computer and the registry entries are also corrupted. Can you show me the way that this antivirus can put file where.

    Re: Home Antivirus 2010 infection.

Select execute swift Scan and then click on Scan in your antivirus software. you can use Norton for that or malware bytes. It would start scanning your computer for Home Antivirus 2010 infection. Once the scan is absolute or inclusive, click OK and then Show Result to view the results. See a list of contaminated items and delete the threats manually from it.
