You didn't specified the operating system that you are using for the networking purpose. Any ways i am explaining the procedure to work with the Windows 7 as it is the latest operating system. To work with the remote desktop to operate the computer on the home nyetwork you have to do the following setting that will help you to make the computer on the network. So just go through the12345QWERT step that is describing the same.

OK so i am explain the same for the use of the Windows XP. It is same as the Windows 7 so do the following for the use of the same. Right click on the My Computer and the go to the properties. And click on the remote tab after that go to the under Remote Desktop section and click on the check box showing the "Allow users to connect remotely to this computer". Thats it now you can connect to the other computer with the remote access. Say thanks if you like the same. |
