    Using 2 virtual network adapters

hello I have a server where there are two network cards, I would connect the two cards on two different switches, but I wish I had the same ip. if I set parameter with same ip on both cards is not possible. how to have a kind of cluster and network cards and have two physically distribute IP addresses but a single virtual IP address.

It should create a teaming with the drivers provided for by the publisher of your card. Let your switches are compatible (while the switches are pro the last few years).

In short, it takes professional gear and floor the network config that goes with it.

Re: Using 2 virtual network adapters

Thank you I have been in the process of posting just because that's what I found and it works .

Indeed, according to the manufacturer's software is different (Broadcom BASP and is otherwise the most common network configuration hp)

is that both cards need to be set? what impact on the dns server? I make this manip despite the fact that on my card I set parameter virtual gateway so well.

    thank you for your help

Both cards are configured by the editor tools maps. So do not do anything once the tool is configured, the virtual card is the only network card changed the position, then configure.

But in case of client pc , Whilst the tunnel is up there will be no connection between the two networks through the client PC. I believe this is by design for secure VPN clients.

Instead if you not use Microsofts not-so-secure PPTP VPN protocol, then it is possible to configure the PC such that it sees the remote network as an *additional* network and therefore it can access both.
