Avoid TrojanSpy.Zbot.KIE from entering the system

I am using Windows Vista operating system and my browser is Mozilla Firefox. Is there any solution to avoid TrojanSpy.Zbot.KIE from entering the system? The AVG antivirus that I am using in my system gets rid of this infection if it enters into the system. I do not understand how it gets into the system. I generally get the alerts of this infection when the system is connected with the internet. I am awaiting for suitable solutions.

    Do not download pirated softwares

Hey, my suggestion to you is to not download pirated softwares to avoid TrojanSpy.Zbot.KIE from entering the system. The attackers know that many users will be attracted to such downloads of pirated softwares. So, they embed them with infections. All the users who download the pirated softwares will also be downloading the infections into their system.

Do not accept file transfers from unknown users

To avoid TrojanSpy.Zbot.KIE from entering the system, do not accept file transfers from unknown users. The attackers generally pose as a friend and will chat with you in a very good manner. After some time he will try to convince you to accept some file, which he will describe as a very good file for viewing or for some system use. But, actually it may contain infections. You just need to be alert and decline such invitations.
