Antivirus are good at detecting and deleting files belonging to the worms, but often do not repair or remove registry changes correctly. Therefore, anti-virus program can sometimes do more harm than the worm, for its withdrawal and leave the computer unusable, or display various error messages when used. First try cleaning the system files by ccleaner then use antivirus.

The freeware "McAfee AVERT Stinger" does not offer comprehensive virus protection, but it is quite useful when the computer is already infected. In the current version 10.x over 600 viruses, worms, Trojans and their variants are detected by the freeware. The handling of the freeware is very easy. McAfee AVERT Stinger "will start immediately after installation without a double-click the downloaded EXE file. Now start the scanning process by clicking on the button "Scan Now". Viruses and worms are detected, they will be cleaned up immediately whenever possible.
