    TrojanDownloader- Win32/Bredolab.AA downloading unknown files

From the last week my computer is behaving in a bizarre manner. When I start my computer, it would start and then again on its on the computer would restart. Also when I connected the LAN cable every now and then I used to get some or the other pop up windows for downloading some unknown file. My AVG anti virus would detect a TrojanDownloader- Win32/Bredolab.AA. So can I remove it from my computer?

    System Restore

Windows operating system has a System Restore utility which allows you to restore your computer. This is a same as the Undo process. The System Restore utility keeps a track of Safe points in your computer. So in case you are using a Windows operating system, then you can use the System Restore utility to revert your computer settings to a safe point.

    Scan in Safe Mode

My suggestion is that you reboot your computer in Safe mode. To boot in safe mode:
    1. Reboot your computer.
    2. Once you see the initial Vendor screen, keep tapping on the f8 key.
    3. This will cause to display a screen to select the booting modes.
    4. Select Safe Mode.

Once you have booted in Safe mode then scan your computer thoroughly.

    Win32/Bredolab.AA

The Trojan Win32/Bredolab.AA is known to download and then try executing malicious files on the infected host. These files are downloaded from a remote server which the hacker uses to send malicious programs. If this Trojan has infected a host then the host will contain a siszyd32.exe file. Also the Temporary Files folder will inhabit:
    • kernel32.dll
    • ntdll.dll
    • win32k.sys
    • ws2_32.dll

Unable to Boot in Safe Mode

I tried to boot my computer in Safe mode, but it would hang for a while and then again reboot in normal booting mode. I had earlier once booted in Safe mode, but now when I tried to boot in safe mode my computer would just boot in normal mode. Also the System restore cannot be done as there are no restore points. I guess I need to switch to some other reliable anti virus. Can any one suggest some other anti virus?

    Use Avast to remove Trojans

I also had a trojan which got downloaded to my system and this would redirect my search to some unknown websites. I was using Kaspersky anti virus which was even not able to trace the trojan. I then installed Avast anti virus which was able to trace the trojan and also deleted it. Download and install Avast anti virus.
