Window does not connect to internet protocol bug

I can not find a possible reason why my xp does not connect to the internet. I have pc with config as DualCore e1500 2.2ghz lga 775, 3 GB ddr2 6500, nvidia 512mb 9400gt, motherboard Foxconn 1064hz fsb integrated network card and a pci network card. Hard disk is ide of 80GB.

I could not get the driver for the network card integrated on the motherboard (motherboard Foxconn n15235 in the series of packard bell media x9233). Before it worked well with the network card without the pci card integrated. Before an accident that caused the pc to suddenly shut down.

So since XP recognizes the card well in pci, the wi-Fi, but for example when installing the cd of the nine boxes and it will test the connection between the PC and the nine boxes, he said genre the nine box is not connect by cable!

Internet explorer or mozilla will not work. All the other material works, but nothing is perceived by the window, it does not even do Wifi search.

Can anyone explain me why window does not connect to internet protocol bug?

Click on Start/Run. Type cmd and validate it by clicking on OK button. In the black window, type IPCONFIG / ALL and validate by Enter key. Did you get as an IP address?

It should look something like this: 169.154.1.2

    (cmd / ipconfig)

    Windows IP Configuration

    Ethernet card LAN connection 2:

    specific DNS Suffix connection:
    IP address: 192.168.1.41
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Click on Start / Run. Type cmd and validate it by clicking on OK button. In the black window, type ping 192.168.1.1

    Then type www.google.com

In these two tests, you must obtain lines that pass slowly and stuff like show

    Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7600]

Sending a request 'Ping' 192.168.1.1 with 32 bytes of data:
    Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes = 32 time <1ms TTL = 64
    Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes = 32 time <1ms TTL = 64
    Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes = 32 time <1ms TTL = 64
    Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes = 32 time <1ms TTL = 64

    Ping statistics for 192.168.1.1:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milliseconds:
    Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0ms

This means, you get an IP address of your router, so you are well connected and your interfaces work. In such care look if you do not have a firewall that locks your connection

Re: Window does not connect to internet protocol bug

I did what you told me, unfortunately I get exactly the same as your example! Both small screen in the bottom right has disappeared although I connect the cable. I would have been "repaired" the windows via a cd I just do not because the PC was then sold without. I restored the windows with the oldest restore point (2002) without good news.

Is there any way to test any other thing? A kind of topic from A to Z means to find the default?

Its a good sign, it means that your card still works properly, it is well connected to your router and they are in the same network.

It may be just a DNS issue. (Domain Name Service: This service automatically translates the address that you entered by hand (like google.com for example) into IP addresses (209.85.153.104 google it)).

I suppose you have Windows XP.

Click on Start / Settings / Control Panel

Double-click Network Connections and double-click on your LAN interface (wired connection)

Double click on IPv4 and verify that you obtain the DNS automatically. Need to uncheck and recheck the option to force Windows to re-validate the entries.
