Ethernet connection impossible

I have a problem with my ISP provider and ethernet connection. I can not do is log on even after you perform handling in Ethernet protocol (tcp / ip). The modem works because I can connect my laptop so I do not know what to do.
Someone should have there a solution to my problem? Thank you in advance.

It am still surprising that it works on the laptop and not on another. Of course you must have an ethernet port on the motherboard (RJ45) to your tower. What as a modem and who is your ISP. I think you should contact your ISP and then know what is the exact problem. I think they can provide you the correct information.

There is nothing complicated about what I asked. Your computer must be equipped with an RJ45 Ethernet jack. Otherwise configure your neufbox, you can get the information from there. As you've tried, I must conclude what happened to you that you could not connect your cable from the box to your computer which is an RJ45. Unfortunately I have no box or other router to give you more info, and not only to me but you have asked help to the community. So there is probably another person from the community will definitely answer your questions. Good luck
