Standard Security Technology on Internet

Hi,
I need some information no Standard Security Technology. In short it is called as SSL. You have noticed sometime while login in Gmail a message appeared to gain some SSL certificate. I searched on net and found that it is some type of encryption service which gives out secure login between a web server and browser. On the other had I had studied a article which shows online theft. Basically of bank accounts. What is a best way to choose a nice password so that nobody can identify it.

The terms Secure Sockets Layer or SSL is a widely used network protocol for secure communications through networks, for example between a web browser and a Web server. It is a commonly used for secure electronic commerce transactions over the Internet. It ensures, for example, in case of interception of frames exchanged between your computer and the business. So you don't need to worry about this. It is widely used and it is safe if you implement this on your system.

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral. SSL is an industry standard and is used by millions of websites in the protection of their online transactions with their customers.

If you are dealing your banking transactions online you are already on a SSL network. But this no one can hack you account and you can work safely on it. On the contrary if you go for a public key then there is no need of encryption as it is open to all. This is called as Certificate Signing Request a CSR in short. This data also has you details. The CSR does not validate your data and SSL always works on validation of all information.

Re: Standard Security Technology on Internet

Without the SSL it is possible to decrypt the content. This protocol provides security guarantees in terms of authentication, confidentiality and integrity of the figures. In the beginning, SSL was developed by Netscape. Everyone has already raised the question of whether a particular password was fairly robust. A password is not supposed to be written or stored in files, the first characteristic is that it is relatively easy to remember for the person who has chosen.
