Re: The server is unavailable PPP control protocol for this network protocol

This error message occurs when you try to connect to your ISP via dial-up connection. Error can be caused by the fact that enabled the "Negotiate multi-link for single link connections". To disable it, follow these steps.
  1. Open Network Connections, click Start and selecting Control Panel, click Network and Internet Center Network and Sharing, and Managing Network Connections.
  2. Right-click the dial-up connection and select Properties.
  3. Click the Settings tab, click Settings PPP.
  4. Uncheck Negotiate multi-link for single link connections, and then click OK.
  5. In Network Connections, click OK, and then click Close.

Re: The server is unavailable PPP control protocol for this network protocol

In your version of Windows uses a protocol not supported by the VPN - the server provider.

Solution:

a) In the window that appears error check the box to 'never ask for records with errors "and click" Yes "or" OK. " If after this action error persists, you should follow the steps in paragraph b) or c).

b) Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Network Connections, right-click on connection "Ardinvest" in the popup menu, select "Properties." In the window that opens, select "Network" tab. Remove the checkmark from all protocols except "Internet Protocol TCP / IP" and "QoS". Reconnect the connection.

c) Double-click the left mouse button on the Connection "Ardinvest" in the window that opens, click on the Properties button, then select "Network" tab. Remove the checkmark from all protocols except "Internet Protocol TCP / IP" and "QoS". Reconnect the connection.
