Prevention of SHeur.BSUJ

My system has been infected with SHeur.BSUJ and need to know a method for prevention of SHeur.BSUJ. I remove it from the system using the antivirus, but still I get alerts about SHeur.BSUJ and such other infections when I surf the web. I do not understand why it is happening. What kind of infection is this SHeur.BSUJ? Does it come from the web while surfing? Is there any technique to prevent it from entering the system. I am using Windows XP operating system and my browser is IE 8.
