The issue that you are not able to create or establish a network bridge with the desktop to connect your Playstation 3 is due to incorrect way of connecting the peripherals. You need to connect the Playstation 3 directly to the router via cables and then establish the network connection by installing the hardware through a network. There should not be a problem with the operating system in order to make or create a network bridge.

As you are not able to create a network bridge setup with the playstation 3 to your system it might be the operating system a possible reason for the occurrence. For your information Windows 7 is still been under testing process and it would be advisable to use Windows XP to create or to carry out such sort of functions. Check out by using Windows XP and then create a network bridge. Hope this should work for you.

The drivers for the wireless card and the network card may be the issue associated with the same. You need to check out whether it is been the root cause through which you are not able to connect the peripherals well to the system. As Windows 7 been highly sophisticated and advanced operating system software it requires updated tools in order to cope well with it. Upgrade the tools with latest softwares and drivers. This might help.

Plug in your Playstation 3 into the system and allow to acquire the Ip address.
Type Network sharing center and hit enter on the search tool of Windows button.
Click on change adapter settings under manage wireless networks.
Right click on the local area connection and disable the icon.
After that again right click and choose properties.
Go to the Sharing tab menu.
Uncheck if the option is been checked under allow other resources to access through internet.
Save settings and hit ok also enable the network connection that is been disabled before.
Now bridge the connection of your wireless card and local area connection by right clicking on it.

This should make the required changes to work on.
