Worries SSL, session startup

Hello everyone,
I have a concern on my computer, I think I have downloaded a virus on limewire. The issues are

- I can not access via firefox (although yes with IE) to secure sections types hotmail or facebook for example. I have a message: Secure connection not possible because SSL is disabled. (Error code: ssl_error_ssl_disabled). (and yet I have SSL enabled when I go to tools, advanced in firefox.

- Another problem, Windows Media Player no longer read my mp3 files (I get "Windows Media Player can not play the file because the audio device or video problem. Try installing a device driver day.)

- And finally, after starting the pc, I'm going on a session but not when you switch users and go to another session.
Any help on this.

You can start by trying to boot into Safe Mode (press F8 before Windows starts) to launch either a disinfection program (antivirus, anti trojan, anti rootkit) is to start a diagnostic program (Hijackthis) and then identify the virus. Try one of these and the virus from your computer will be removed.

Hello
Thank you for your response, I started in Safe Mode, I fall on "select first boot device" with three possibilities:
Quote:
- Floppy
- IDE-0
- CDROM
I do not know what to do next. I admit to not being a champion of IT. More guidance is required, please. Thanks in advance.

You pressed F8 certainly too early. The selection window you mention is not safe mode. Try pressing the F8 key just before you see the Windows logo. You'll see a list appear where you can choose "Start in Safe Mode." Good luck.

Hey,
After careful consideration, and a few dozen attempts, I managed to view the screen to start in Safe Mode. The trouble is that when I have this screen keyboard becomes unresponsive and impossible to move with the arrows. Assuming that I can start without fail, which is the correct option that I have to choice. I thinking to change my computers mdr.

Re: Worries SSL, session startup

Hello
I also limewire on my windows XP. Internet explorer and firefox crash when I need to print a window. The main problem is with my account "sensitive bank paypaln ebay" except with firefox yet is checked SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0. Chrome is very good but does not over-print my slip when the printer is working for the rest. I do a restore to a point but still the same. My mistake is perhaps because I wanted to delete Outlook some time ago , as I thought live messenger is a replacement for Outlook. If you have any solutions with this then please post back. Thank you in advance.
