    Hi,
You can try this code to download and install wireless tools.
    Code:
    apt-get install wireless-tools
Or alternatively you can try this (recommended by Debian)
    Code:
    aptitude install wireless-tools
This will Install the package wireless-tools and all its dependencies. Hope this may help you.

    Hi,
My debian operating system is not connected. I must download the package from another machine or a live CD ubuntu. That's why I have the problem of dependency. What I have to do to download all the dependencies? Any suggestion on this.

    Hello
I found myself in this case and that's what I did was, for package wireless-tools for example:
    1) load the package wireless-tools where you can connect you
    2) putting it in a folder (call the WiFi) on your machine
    3) get into the directory WIFI and install it with the command:
    Code:
    sudo dpkg -i-wireless tools_package.deb
dpkg will send you an error message indicating you the dependencies it needs.
    5) You go back where it can connect you and you load the packages required, then you put them in the directory WIFI. Then being in the directory WIFI you type the command.
    Code:
     sudo dpkg-i *
    6) if the package installs it's good or it may be that the new packages depend on other packages and in this case must be rebuilt.
The galley is sometimes, must take the packages that meet your current system: stable, testing or unstable.

    Hi
Thank you for these details, just as it is a tiring search for dependencies that demand for other can never finished. I managed to get connected via RJ45 to leave her ability to work. I pass this link if AC can serve. Think this will work, if you have any more solution better than this, please do post back.
