Admin account not secured in windows 7

Hi. Well I have been using windows 7 as my operating system on my desktop machine since a long time. The thing is that my problem is associated with the admin and normal user account. When I login to my normal user account and try to access the admins folder it the password prompt window appears which has to be. But its just once. When I try to do it again it do not ask the same thing. Also overwriting to the folders using the same user account prompts for the password issue. Please help. I guess the security is not proper.

The problem that you are able to access or not provided with the password prompt window on the second chance with admins folder and overwriting to the same using user account is due to the blank password issue. This happens when a password is not set properly or is left blank while setting the same. When you leave the password blank it then redirects and logins to page without prompting for the password.

Re: Admin account not secured in windows 7

YOu need to create a password for the same if its left blank. This will ensure the security and won't let to get access without password been accepted. All you need to do is to create a password. Go to the start menu option > Control panel > user account. Select the account to modify section. There you would get an option to create password. Click on the option and set the desired password for the account. Save the changes and reboot your system.

One more thing you could do with this issue to be sorted is by disabling the user account. Follow the procedures to do the thing:

1) Click on the start menu option and type user account settings into the search bar option.
2) The user account control setting box will then appear.
3) Move the bar to the option as never notify.
4) Click ok after that.

Now for the security permissive accessibility:

1) You need to right click on the user profile folder and then click on properties.
2) Switch the option to security tab and click on edit.
3) Highlight the standard account and click on remove button.
4) Finally click ok button.

This should help to make the things turn to your favor.
