Unable to make the evaluation index

I can not make the performance index. I have Windows 7 pro 64 bit. I am using Avast because I had read that this could come from Kaspersky. Here is the file winsat. Maybe something escapes me.

Re: Unable to make the evaluation index

If you actually use Kaspersky IS2010 than it blocks the execution of the performance index (WEI). Solution: disable Kaspersky and do your test again! If you had put your updated drivers (video chipset, etc... )?

Re: Unable to make the evaluation index

There is henceforth a fix for this problem with Kaspersky:

    1. open the main application window
    2. in the upper right corner click the Settings link
    3. in the left part of the Settings window select the Options item
    4. in the right part of the window uncheck Enable Self-Defense
    5. in the right lower corner click the OK button
    6. close the main application window picture.
    7. open the folder where the application's files are located. By default: C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 2010
    8. rename the files Sbhook64.dll and Kloehk.dll in the folder C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 2010. You can use any file name, for example, Sbhook640.dll and Kloehk0.dll
    9. enable the application Self-Defence
    10. re-run the process of rating your computer's performance going to Start - Control Panel - System and Maintenance - Performance Information and Tools and then clicking the Update my score link (for Windows 7: the link is Re-run the assessment).

Re: Unable to make the evaluation index

It is quite possible that a script is blocked by the virus: "61.2847408 (4328) - winsat\main.cpp:4736: ERROR: Unable to save validated results"

more errors on line 2 and 15, may be due to a non-certified driver

tries to do a scan of system files
    command line> sfc / scannow

Re: Unable to make the evaluation index

I had the same error message few months ago. After a lot of research I found that it was Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 which was blocking WEI. The WEI test went fine but no solution was found. I would suggest you to try some other antivirus software to fix this problem.
