There are certain ways through which you can revoke the protection accessibility to the folders that has been assigned by specific user by turning off the user account control. You can do it by this method:

    1) Login using administartor account to the Windows.
    2) Go to start menu and then to control panel.
    3) Select the user account User Accounts.
    4) Click on the option of Change User Account Control settings link.
    5) Scroll down to the end.
    6) Click on OK to make the changes.
    7) Restart your system in order to make the User account control to be turned off.

This will lend you in making the protected folders unprotected.

One more way to use or do the following thing is as follows:

    1) Go to the start menu and open Run command.
    2) Type regedit.
    3) Access to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
    4) Now locate the REG_DWORD Value and enable UA that User account
    5) After doing this set the value of User account enability that is EnableUA to 0.
    6) In the consent prompt behavior admin set the value to 0.
    7) Exit from the program and reboot.

This should also help you in making the things in your favor.

One of the easiest method could be removing the user account from the system so that it do not have any link attached to it in order to protect the particular folder. This can be done by login to the system by administrator account. An administrator has the accessibility and rights to remove and grant privileges to the users existing in the system. With this you can unlock the sharing folders security and get access to it.
