Blocking an outbound firewall on Windows 7 a problem

Hello. I use windows 7 as the operating system on my desktop machine. I have blocked outbound rules for firewall and tried to set rules for different users to do the things. But I am not able to set the rules. It gives me an error. I just do not know how to make this things under possible ways which could be under my favor. But when I try to set the previous application rules it does works. Please let me know how can I set different rules without any issues.

As you are not able to set the rules for the application to the users. There is a way through which you can do it. Follow the steps as given below:

    Create a new Outbound rule
Choose Custom Rule and click Next.

    1) First create a new Outbound rule for the application.
    2) Choose Custom Rule opton and then click on Next
    3) In the Dialog, click the Customize button and select Apply to this service.
    4) Select the Windows Error Reporting Service option and click on Ok button.
    5) Then click Next in the Program dialog box.
    6) Click Next in the Protocol and Ports dialog box.
    7) Then again click Next in the scope dialog box.
    8) Select Allow the connection in the action dialog box and then click Next button.
    9) Click Next in the profile dialog box.
    10) Finally define a name for the rule and click on Finish.

Well for your information I would like to let you know that Windows Error reporting consists of the service that is number of Data link layers and executables. Try allowing both the executables that is WerFault.exe and wermgr.exe for outbound access through firewall. There isn't really any dependencies for error reporting service. So I hope this should work for you.

There is another way through which you could do the things properly. You need to follow these steps:

    1) Go to Start menu.
    2) Open the control panel option.
    3) Open the Internet options thereafter.
    4) Click on the Advanced tab option and select the firewall protection tab.

You can customize the security level options from here. Just select the full access to the settings. After that check for the action center for solutions.
After this select outgoing access only.
