| The server copy of roaming profile was not found
I have a very strange problem? Please help me, I have a network of domains 4 Windows Server 2003 R2. If I now want to register at the domain, always comes the following Error message : "The server copy of roaming profile was not found. They are registered with a local user profile. Changes to the profile will not be propagated to the server. Possible causes of errors are network problems or insufficient security rights. Contact your network administrator if the problem persists. " However, I can then click OK or tell me to still useable, but always takes a local profile, and not the domain profile. When I sign off, he even saves the profile back, but when re-login again comes the above errors. The network operates safely, because I can then work as normal, even in the net and so on ... What can I do when I can start troubleshooting? |

| Re: The server copy of roaming profile was not found The domain controller name for your computer could not be determined. (The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.). The Group Policy processing aborted. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. Also check the following things: - The profile path of the user is registered correctly in Active Directory? - The Address (Share + NTFS) are correct? - Can the user with an explorer to access the path? |

When you "login" to your local network, your computer is configured to look for his "desktop" (My Documents and wallpapers and everything else) of a "server" computer on the network. It was their "login" to the local domain "server" of a successful connection?Does your local network administrator indicate that the "domain server" is working properly? |

In Windows Vista, the TCPIP Stack has been rewritten and Member States are integrated a new feature for automatic adjustment of the RWIN MTU. In fact, by default the autoTuningLevel is set to Normal and Windows tries to find the best adjustments. In reality, behind some routers, Windows bad negotiate and the result is that the network is slow. The command to disable the autoTuningLevel is: - Click Start, All Programs - Accessories - Click Prompt - Click Run As Administrator - Type the following: netsh int tcp set global autoTuningLevel = disabled - Press enter - Restart your computer (not really needed) |
