    desktop infected by Agent/Gen-HJunk[HS]

Hi, I am a frequent user of internet. Yesterday I downloaded one song from a website. May be from that website or by that song my computer has been infected by virus. My anti virus has detected something called Agent/Gen-HJunk[HS]. I tried couple of times to delete it but it again detects the same.

Most probably that virus would be in the song that you have downloaded. First detect that virus then delete it from the whole system. You can do this selecting the song and then press shift+delete key. Reboot your computer then again scan with your anti virus program.

Your anti virus would be expired that can be reason that it can not delete the detected virus. Ask your administrator to update your anti virus or to reinstall the latest version of anti virus. Reboot your system after installing the newer anti virus then try to delete that virus.

As you said that you are a frequent user then you must take care of that there are some websites where downloading files may contains some viruses. To overcome with this kind of issue you can do is block that websites. You will find that option in your browsers settings where you can specify the URL name to block it.
