Need information on Tibs.CU virus

I am receiving virus in mails. I does not have any antivirus right now. I feel some suspicious mails. Is there a way to avoid such virus. I normally deletes only those mails which I does not identify. I had installed Hijakthis which is showing Tibs.CU virus. This virus I think spreads through mails. How to avoid this types of threats.
