RSPlug.A program is a malicious Trojan horse, that is to say a hostile program unable to multiply and spread by itself unlike viruses. When the user tries to open a video, they display a fake error message indicating that the Quick Time player is unable to open the file and offering to install a new code that is actually the horse Troy ( "Quick time Player is unable to play movie file. Please click here to download new version of code."). If the user complies and enters his password administrator to run the file, RSPlug.A moved. Type DNSChanger, the Trojan modifies RSPlug. A management of domain names, so that the user attempting to access a legitimate website by entering the exact address in the browser can be redirected back to the blind to a copy of the site controlled by a malicious individual.
