sbs 2003 server on desktop... hello all. i have recently installed sbs 2003 on an hp p6101f desktop; i was hoping to be able to create a small home lab to mess around with so i don't mess up any settings accidentally on the server at work. the install seemed to go fine until it booted up for the first time. it prompted me for my network adapter driver in order to be able to continue installing components. this hp's adapter is integrated and the driver i found on the hp support website doesn't seem to work--or at least sbs 2003 doesn't like it. i was hoping someone here might have encountered the same or a similar problem and could help me with a solution. thanks in advance... |

Re: sbs 2003 server on desktop... It seems to me that you need a special program that allows you to put the same ip to the network card and then load balancing between all cards. (NO I did try to put 2 cards in an advanced server and see if putting them in the same ip you give me more performance, so if you let me put the same ip on all cards which I doubt very much). Run ncpa.cpl to configure it. |
