There are many types of threats on internet. I want some information on different types of threats and their infections. On which section does it mainly targets.How they collect the data due to software, and how the catch the servers.

The DNS attacks are a major threat to business.Unlike traditional viruses that target the end user, DNS attacks targeting Web servers. They contaminate the gateways to redirect Internet addresses typed by the user to a third party site relaying viruses or online scam ( cheat,tricks etc).

Once present on the job, they collect data as the last accessed files, favorite sites, software and sometimes more confidential information like passwords.
