    Virtualise databases more efficiently

    Hello,
I am working for data center . here we deal in large amount of data. I want to know how we can Virtualise databases more efficiently.is there is any steps or any application required for to do this?? Is it safe to do? Is it anybody know about this? Any suggestion??

Virtualisation is new trend that has gained popularity for last several years. Vrtualisation taking many machines and combining them on one piece of equipment, where each copy of the operating system s 'executes within its own virtual machine.Understand the impact of virtualization on the data access is important.Data for any application, or more specifically the recovery of data base can be depend on CPU and memory, and represents up to 75 cent to 95 per cent of all time spent in a database centric application. When 80 percent of the time the processor is not used, you have spare cycles, which can compensate for bad algorithms, the code of bad data access, or a default JDBC driver. However, this can become a problem when the utilization reaches 80 percent or 90 percent.

Virtualization takes many machines and combining them on one piece of equipment, where each copy of the operating system runs in its own virtual machine.Despite benefits of virtualization, there are limits, especially the questions of 'scalability. Once the limits of materials are tested, drivers or inefficient code can create a bottleneck and scalability limitations Quick decreases.Once materials are tested, drivers or inefficient code can create a bottleneck and the 'rapid scalability decreases. For example, a company may have an application that uses an application server in which it conducts its access to data, connecting to Oracle and works well with 100 users. You can see CPU, once the environment is virtualized and excess and memory are no longer available, then suddenly this application starts under performing.

Access data for any application, or more specifically the recovery of data base can be very CPU and memory, and makes up 75 per cent to 95 per cent of all time in an application-oriented data .When 80 percent of the time the processor is not used. However, this can become a problem when the utilization reaches 80 percent or 90 percent. Despite the advantages of virtualization, there are limits, especially the issues of scalability. Once the limits of materials are tested, drivers or inefficient code can create a bottleneck and scalability decreases rapidly. For example, a company might have an application that uses an application server in which it conducts its access to data, connecting to Oracle and works well with 100 users. We have seen repeatedly that CPU, once the environment is virtualized and excess and memory are no longer available, all of a sudden this application starts underperforming. It is generally be of the code to access data (Hibernate, JDBC,. NET, ODBC, etc.) is not written efficiently, or there is a piece of middleware - some drivers - which is written inefficiently and uses too much CPU or too much memory. The result is that in the virtualized environment, excessive use of memory and CPU and disk or network may becomes a big problem.
