Network printer permanently offline

Hi There

I have a Brother HL-5250DN printer permanently offline.
It is a network printer, and its only going offline for 1 person in the company.
The only way i have been able to work around is delete and reinstall the network printer.
It does have its own network point and is setup with TCP/IP.
That person has to always uninstall and reinstall the printer to get it working again when she starts her PC.

Any idea's please.

Login to the network printer and put out of action SNMP, then edit the printer port settings and do the same (disable SNMP) some printers, unless properly adjusted, are not compatible with SNMP and could cause problems to appear in line. Disable SNMP on port tcp / ip then disable the "MAC Bridge Miniport" network adapter had some software installed. Hope this helps. If you found any other solution then share with us thanks.

Hi,

Somehow someone ended up giving themslves the same IP as the printer, so it ended up the printer not working for any of the computers eventually.
So i added a new IP to the printer and re-added it to the exclusion list in DHCP, and since then it is working.
