Cisco's IOS vs Juniper's JUNOS

Hello,
We have setup a new network . WE have decided the Cisco Internetwork Operating System software current Cisco network switches and router. But our client said about Juniper's JUNOS. So i dont know which one is best as per as performance concerned? can you help me out ? Any suggestion??

Juniper Networks makes its unique approach system operating high-performance networking. using JUNOS throughout its routing, switching and other application specific platforms lowers cost and facilitates operations and management.
Cisco, on the other hand, introduce a new operating system every product launch, a practice that is becoming more than the original version of IOS a distant memory. This year alone, Cisco has unveiled a new operating system to switch its data center and another for its latest generation of edge routers, nearly four years after launching yet another for its core routers.
If Juniper is correct, it would seem that Cisco is playing right into his hands.
