Peerguardian 2 not working

anyone else having same trouble as i'm facing with peer guardian .

I get the following message:

PeerGuardian is unable to load the packet filtering driver.
This could happen if PeerGuardian crashed and didn't have a chance to unload the driver, or if the file pgfilter.sys can't be found.

If PeerGuardian crashed, please run "Recover PeerGuardian" from the start menu to attempt to recover from the problem.

class driver_error
CreateService/OpenService: The specified service does not exist as an installed service.

Any help to resolve this error please?

Which OS you are using? there is the issue with peerguardian to work on x64 operating systems. I would say simply uninstall peerguardian 2 and reinstall it again. If still error persist then switch to some other security application.

Try following:

1. Start PC in Safe mode and see if you still gets this error.
2. System restore to date when it was working fine.
3. Remove it from startup and then run it as Administrator.
4. Download the latest version and install it, before installing completely remove the previous installation.
