Apartment without RJ45 sockets

I have shifted to a new apartment. But I could not find any phone jacks, but only round tips for RJ45 sockets, in all rooms. Can you confirm that all is well and that I can keep my router without problem? Or I will bring a technician, or worse do without the internet, to get it fixed.

The RJ11 will disappear with the "new" standards comes to electrical installations. Theoretically, the jack that you are being provided seems to be a office phone socket (or something like that).

That means any router is reliable, provided it has the RJ45 socket rather than RJ11? And yes, that's what I thought since there was one in the kitchen. But I do not know if the box could get started without making conventional phone as my home now. Also I found some more info similar to my case. I do not know if it worked but it seems that I need something like this: Separator Phone / DSL, unless there are new router's available in the market which directly support the RJ45.
