Hi,

LSA Shell (Export Version) (Lsass.exe file name) is a component of the Windows XP operating system that helps manage the access permissions. Sometimes you need Internet access to perform legitimate tasks. It is normal for this program for access permission, and is safe to grant permission. keep in mind though Trojan horses and other malicious programs often masquerade as legitimate programs using the same file name.
In most cases, this means you have Sasser, W32.Blaster or Blaster32 virus on your PC. This virus causes LSA Shell and RPC (Remote Procedure Call) error when accessing the Internet. By default Windows PC is turned off in case of default. Shutdown is performed not immediately but within 60 seconds after the failure so you can save your work.
It is highly recommended that :
- Disconnect the network cable.
- activate the firewall in Windows XP.
- Disable System Restore.
- Boot in safe mode.
- download and analysis for the virus using Mcafee stinger.
