question Cannot access domain!!

Sponsored Links
I need help with accessing a domain. Right now there are 3 servers in a domain. The only server than can see all the other servers and pc's in the domain is the domain controller. The other two servers cant. When logged into the other two servers, i can see the domain, but when i click on it I cant see whats in it...I get the error "(Domain name) is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource". I have ruled out a router issue by disconnecting the switch for the servers from the internet.

Please help anyway you can. Thanks!

Re: Cannot access domain!!

Which windows domain environment you are using? if you want then you can go through the below article and check out if you are getting any help from it.
Troubleshooting the Microsoft Computer Browser Service
I have come across people mentioning different cause of this error so it is hard to find out the actually cause of issue in your case without Troubleshooting. Anyways you can try out using nbtstat -r command and check out "resolved by name server" field. Just make sure that it is having DNS server IP address rather than anything else, Best of luck.
