    Code 31 with MS ISATAP Adapter

    Hi,

    I got this error when I was watching something for someone in the Device Manager and there was a triangle with! in it, so I looked, because usually there is nothing unusual and that is what I have. When I clicked the error code 31, which means that the needs of drivers so I tried to locate but could not so, I just disabled, which I hope is right. Does anyone know what this and can explain it to me. ISATAP Adapter?Any thoughts people?

    Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the "beginning of this article - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932520/en-us. You can ignore this error message. This error message indicates a problem with the adapter. The adapter will continue to work properly.

    To remove error code 31, follow the steps to uninstall and reinstall the device driver:

    Uninstalling and reinstalling the device from device manger. Steps to uninstall the device:
    1. Click Start, type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.
    2. Locate Microsoft ISATAP device adapter
    3. Right click on the device and select Uninstall
    4. Restart the computer for the changes occurring


    Uninstall and reinstall the adapter program and features. Steps
    1. Click Start and select Control Panel
    2. Click Control Panel double in the "Programs and Features" icon.
    3. Here you can find all the programs and themes that are installed on Windows Vista.
    4. To remove, click the adapter in the program once and then click Uninstall / Change and follow the instructions.
