| Are you having MDaemon Mail Server
I wanted to know if any one of you have used MDaemon Mail Server. Prices are good and resources seem fairly light in consumption. In Outlook there's a connector! The big problem is that I do not know whether it is worth (stability, admin ...). Need advice about MDaemon Mail Server? |

I had a small local web host who used this Mail Server with about 2,000 computers. It runs very well on a 2003 server, and is lighter than Exchange. The server is stable + easy admin. For cons, the Outlook Connector is really unstable. But if used as POP/SMTP, no problem. |

Outlook connector unstable? I like my mailboxes on the server (rather than locally on the pc via pop3) and access folders and contacts, shared calendars. Am I obliged to install the connector for that? I do not want something unstable. |

I have never used the connector. Alternatively, I have am using Zimbra which has a Outlook connector. We use it for 3000 computers (pop/imap/mapi) and runs very well. It behaves rather oddly at times for no reason. |
