    DHCP problem in wireless router

I have configure my cisco router to provide IP addresses(dhcp) for all the client which are connected in my office but the problem is after some time(24 to 36 hrs) it provides different ip. For example ip > 192.168.1.1-254 and default gateway > 192.168.1.1 are the range which are assign initially but after some time it gives the range 192.168.22.12 and default gateway also changes. Does anyone know what causes this issue and how to fix it?Any help will be extremely appreciated.

The reason why your client has this self assigned IP address is because it has been unable to obtain an IP address from the DHCP service. To solave the problem try this command : At the cmd ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew at the client pc.(This command clears the existing DHCP address.)

Did you check another workstations in the 192.168.1.x network are truly getting their DHCP from your 192.168.1.1 server? Sounds like you might have something else running a default DHCP server.

You need to check inside the router's / access point's configuration so as to see what is the exact range of the DHCP service and also enter the ipconfig /renew command on the client machine to receive correct an IP address.
