    Adding computer to domain

    I'm trying to add a windows 7 machine to a 2008 server.
    When I am prompted with the username and password it gives the

    To change the computer name, to join a domain, or to add a computer description for a Windows XP-based computer, use the Computer Name tab in the System Properties dialog box. For that you have to add the computer account directly from the computer itself. For that you need to use the control panel network and then need to create a computer account in that domain.
