Antivirus Scaning Problem

Hi,

I am having problem with my anti virus. I have installed avast anti virus at my PC. But it doesn't scanned my PC properly.Whenever i m going to scan my pc it get restarted. Can u help me out ????

Most of the time people facing this problem. Here u no need to reinstall the OS. It happen because, may be some system file having problem or you are anti virus not installed properly.For this you have to Put your WinXP CD in your drive tray.Go to Start menu, Run and type in "sfc.exe /scannow .System file checker will run and replace any damaged system files.System files can become damaged or even if modified by a virus.If this was the case, then that we should fix it. OR else you have to reinstall you're anti virus. because if you are system is infected with virus then some time it happen. By using this way you can fix your problem.

If you are system is virus infected then u have to reinstall you'r anti virus .A vast has some compatibility issues with different computers. some computers are crashed,some goes very slow,some restart and some shut down. This problem could be sorted out by changing some settings of your computer.But better uninstall AVAST. Try other antivirus software which is more comptiable with you'r system.

Most the time when we run anti virus this problem happen.Most of the anti virus have this option to restart the machine after full system scan .You just look for this option an disable it.If virus enter in the system file having chances to corrupt the file or change.In this case you have to repair or else reinstall whole Operating system.Next time you have to change you'r antivirus .
