question Network Printer problem

I have a HP CP3505n printer installed as network printer.
I run Windows xp SP2 and connect a PC (PC1) to the printer via a Belkin 16 port Network switch F5D5131-16.
I have a second PC (PC2) on this network which also uses this switch box but is mostly turned off and only booted up when needed.
The problem I have is that when PC1 is booted up the printer works fine and will print work out immediately but after about 2 hrs of non printing activity, any work sent to the printer gets spooled and will not print until PC1 is rebooted. As soon as PC1 is rebooted the spooled items are printed as normal.
I can then send items for immediate printing again and as long as not more than 2hrs elapses between print jobs it will print on demand. But after say 2 hrs inactivity it just spools up again and I have to reboot to get the jobs printed out.
Is there a simple FIX for this problem?

Re: Network Printer problem

I think you need reinstall your printer drivers at both PCs. Also see this HP help Guide: The Printer Is Not Responding

Hope this will help. Good luck
