    DD-wrt default password

    I have WRT54G , got it from friend and he did the DDWRT upgrade on this. I want to change its speed but i don't know its default password. Can someone please tell me the default name and password for WRT54G. Thanks for any help.

    I think the default password is 'admin' obviously without quotes,

    The following is the default username and password:

    • Username: root
    • Password: admin

    They are case sensitive. If can't login with them then you'll need to do the 30/30/30 reset. Hold the reset button for 30 seconds, and do it 3 times with the interval of 15 seconds. and restore the factory settings.

    While holding down the reset button, plug in the power cord. Hold down the reset button for 30 seconds. This actually install the default setting of the router. Every router comes from the factory with certain options set on it.
