    Windows 7 Ultimate losing connectivity

I have recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my computer with dual network adapters. It is connected to a D-Link router/modem. This was working absolutely fine on my previous Windows XP installation. But after upgradation to Windows 7 Ultimate, something went wrong to my connectivity. I tried various troubleshooting method but nothing finds the problem. Then why does my Windows 7 Ultimate computer looses connectivity?

    Just follow the below steps:

    1. Click Start > Control Panel
    2. In Category view, search Network and Internet and then click View network status and tasks
    3. In the Network and Sharing Center window, look for Change your networking setup section and select Setup a new connection or network
    4. Then click on Connect to the Internet.
    5. Follow the Wizard to setup your Broadband ISP

This kind of problem are quite common for the dual network adapter drivers for some motherboards. Try to disable it in the BIOS and see if it works. Also make sure that the power option of the network adapter is already disabled. If the problem still continues then contact your motherboard manufacturer for technical support and ask then to provide appropriate drivers.

There are 3 points which I would like to discuss with you. The first is reboot your computer in Safe Mode with networking enabled and see if you can connect to the internet. Secondly make sure you have the latest and up-to-date Windows 7 driver installed on your computer. Finally make sure your anti-virus or firewall isn't blocking the connection.
