Wireless Setup for Westell Versalink 327W

I bought a new modem Westell Versalink 327W and I need to setup wireless for it. I have tried to search on many websites but cannot find its setup procedures or manuals anywhere. My brother accidentely reset the router and now I am not able to change the configurations and hence I cannot get the wireless to work. So if anyone can help me it would be great. Thank you

Download the Westell VersaLink 327W Users Guide from here. You will require WinZip or compatible software for file extraction.

Can you please specify what operating system do you have on your computer? Does it have a wireless adapter in it? If so and you are running XP just plug the router into a DSL modem. Here are the detailed instructions.

You can find lots of information and guides for the Westell 327W available here.

You can access the 327W through your browser by default »192.168.1.1. If you access the modem first time and it is still in default mode, the user=admin and password=password. You can configure the wireless settings in the configuration menu/wireless. Configuration|wireless menu consist of:
    a. Basic - This where you enable the wireless, change the SSID, & Mode.
    b. Security - You choose the encryption here(WEP or WPA), use WPA if available, put at least 21 character keys.
    c. Mac Filter - This is self explanatory.
    d. Advanced - For now leave it in default, change later after you read the manual.
Take note the 327W is hard to connect to if you disable SSID, Use MAC filtering if WEP is the only encryption available.
