How to repair your registry errors

I want to repair my Windows Registry. Basically since installation I have installed and uninstalled several software's and thus a lot of registry entries have been added to my computer. There are many unwanted entries among them which I want to remove. But the problem is that it is very difficult to do so manually. I want some software to handle this. Does anyone know any such software that removes unwanted registries from your computer?
