    infected by JS\Tenia

Yesterday when I started my computer, I found out that my internet explorer and firefox browsers were not working and if I searched for any query then it was redirected to only one place and hence I was not aboe to access some websites. I scanned my pc with McAfee and to my surprise I found some trojans which were called JS/Tenia.d and Generic PUP.z, so I deleted them but it still comes back. So can anyone tell me how to remove JS\Tenia trojan from my pc? Thank you

Have you tried to download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and save it to your desktop:
    • Make sure you are connected to the Internet.
    • Double-click on mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
    • When the installation begins, follow the prompts and do not make any changes to default settings.
    • When installation has finished, make sure you leave both of these checked:
      Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
      Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    • Then click Finish.

Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply and exit MBAM.

You first need to disable your system restore then only start the scan with MBAM. Below is the method on how to disable the System Restore Utility:
    1. Right click the My Computer icon on the Desktop and click on Properties.
    2. Click on the System Restore tab.
    3. Put a check mark next to 'Turn off System Restore on All Drives'.
    4. Click the 'OK' button.
    5. You will be prompted to restart the computer. Click Yes.
